Nescafé’s FIRST EVER Youth Entrepreneurship Program 2018 organised by us, Avante!
Nescafé had set up pop up stores all over campuses in Malaysia where students had the chance to manage the coffee hubs as their own businesses. From marketing, to management and promotion, these students did a fantastic job.
During the finale of the campaign, participants were invited to enjoy some coffee from the coffee booth, to leave their mark on our giant blackboard as well as have their pictures taken to keep this memory of the event with their friends all while listening to live music from a local busker.
Students and guests were invited to speak with entrepreneurs, experts in their industry for a little Q&A to help spark the entrepreneur in them! The guest speakers include:
- Mr. Othman Chraibi, Business Executive Officer of NESCAFÉ Malaysia
- Ms. Shariza Mohd Razi, Head of Talent Acquisition of Nestle Malaysia
- Ms. Anis Nabilah, Celebrity Chef & Entrepreneur
- Mr. Dewan Ng, Co-founder of DOJO KL
A little healthy competition was set up to see who could achieve the best sales during Coffee Month (October). The winner was IIUM (International Islamic University Malaysia)! Followed by the 1st runner-up, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris and 2nd-runner up, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
